Venus holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a concentration in Visual Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She worked in Marketing and Communications during her corporate tenure. She took a hiatus from working to concentrate on raising her children. She got into teaching when she started teaching academic subjects to hifdh students at ADAMS Center. She also home schooled her own children for a couple of years.
Venus has always had a passion for learning and teaching. During her experience at ADAMS Center, she realized how easy it can be for students to fall through the cracks in the educational system. One of her goals is to ensure that all students are given equal opportunity for learning and understanding.
